WE'RE RECRUITING!

Once again summer is upon us and the end of the expansion aswell, this combination usually leads to people quitting or taking breaks from their guilds and ours is no different, therefor we're in need of some new blood!

Most wanted classes are listed to the left but dont let that stop you. We're considering every application no matter the class to fill up our ranks both for Lich King HC and for the next upcoming expansion Cataclysm. If you think youre that awesome player we're looking for, dont think twice about applying. As always, we expect you to be a active player and geared for Lich King HC since its our last goal for this expansion and youre motivated to keep playing after that.

What we expect of you:

Most of all, be sure that you really want to play here. We've had enough people that join and raid for a couple of weeks where they suddenly remember that raiding was not what they wanted, its a waste of time from both parts so give it a thought.

Other than that we expect you to be active, when new content is out we try to raid everyday from 19.00-00.00 as long as we have people for it though fridays and saturdays usually are free days. You know your class in and out and you are well prepared for the raids, you dont lose motivation easily and wont give up immediatly when things get tough. You're a social person and want to get to know the people in the guild and not simply show up on raids only and stay quiet all the time. Be geared for ICC25hc, as said we need people to kill Lich King but if you can convince us that youre a awesome player lacking gear we will of course consider you.

What you can expect of us:

Glamour is a nordic only raiding guild that has existed since the Molten Core times of vanilla wow. We take pride in being one of the oldest raiding guilds that has beaten every challenge Blizzard has thrown at us, from Molten Core to Icecrown Citadel today and we want to keep that trend going into Cataclysm aswell. You get a stable raiding guild that dont back down to a hard encounter and a social environment where we dont limit ourselves to the game but also do stuff outside of it like real life guild meetings.

Yeah, turned out Auchindoun wasnt such a good idea after all since so many guilds moved there making it unplayable, 10sec delay on trash was fuuuuun. Anyway, we got a free transfer again, oh what irony to get a free transfer from a server when it just had a free transfer to.

We moved to Deathwing this time and hey, its actually playable on primetime! Deathwing is our home now and this time its permanent!

A short story for the people on our new server.

Glamour is a old school hardcore pve guild that originated on the server Stormscale. Stormscale was our home until recently we discovered that lag in instances and limited tries is a bad baaaaaaaaaaaaaad combination. As soon as free transfer came up we packed our bags and off we went to the server Auchindoun. Other than fucking up our raid id because of the transfer and missing putricide, it seemed like a nice place. But more and more guilds transfered, since popular servers like Al'Akir and Ravencrest also had a free transfer there. Next reset was horrible, not only the bosses lagged, the trash lagged aswell and it officially became a server even worse than Stormscale.

A few weeks after that we got free transfer again and we took the opportunity to move to Deathwing and so far we like it since we can raid on primetime now! Wooooo!

Thats right, we've played on this server since the released and gone through everything on Stormscale but have now decided to find a new home. The reason is simple, even though Stormscale has always had a history of high queues and bad lag at every new content patch, we endured it but simply cant anymore. Having limited tries on bosses and at the same time risking huge lag spikes is not very ideal, we lost a kill on Putricide because 6 out of 10 attempts we had lag on three different occasions, even though we tried to raid late at night it didnt help. Not to mention that people keep transfering to Stormscale to PVE, people seriously pay money to enjoy high queues and a generally unstable server

The last 4 attempts we simply said fuck it and went all out, only to wipe at 1% because of yet another lag spike. And after trying to raid on Wednesday only to get more lag, well that was enough for us.

No more, our new home is on the server Auchindoun and that will hopefully be permanent, so all of you still keeping up with us, you know where to find us.
